ROOTS — Towards Prosperity
About us

Towards prosperity. نحو الإزدهار

ROOTS is an independent organization that started by aiding displaced families during the Lebanon war. In its first phase, ROOTS provided over 12,000 individuals with essential supplies and services. Now, in its second phase, ROOTS aims to achieve sustainable prosperity in Lebanon through strategic initiatives.

Our Story

ROOTS began with a group of independent individuals who came together in response to the crisis facing their country. What started as informal coordination between friends, family, and colleagues quickly grew into a structured effort to deliver aid where it was needed most.

A single social media post mobilized convoys of supplies, medical volunteers, and field teams operating in the hardest-hit areas. Each contributor brought their own expertise, network, and resources to the table.

Today, ROOTS continues to operate on that same principle: a coordinated network of individuals committed to serving the communities that need support the most.

Mission

Deliver immediate support while building pathways to self-reliance, opportunity, and long-term prosperity.

Vision

A prosperous, resilient community where every individual has the tools, opportunities, and support to thrive — towards prosperity.

Values

Transparency in every transaction. Dignity in every interaction. Local leadership in every project.

The team

ROOTS is led by a dedicated team of coordinators, field workers, and volunteer professionals.
